Default margins

All templates have the same default margins when a page or a section is created. This means that pages with multiple sections will look tidy, as elements are properly aligned on both desktop and mobile.

Editing the padding of a section

You can edit the default padding of a section to adjust it to your liking.

  1. Right-click in a section or Click on the Edit section.
  2. Click on Styles.
  3. Use the sliders to edit the top, bottom, left and right padding.

Editing the margins of an element within a section

Margins are used to create space around elements outside of any defined borders. In Portfoliobox, you can edit the margins of elements on your site, e.g. a header, a logo, a text, a form, a button, etc. To edit the margins of an element:

  1. Right-click on the element you want to edit. 
  2. Select Styles.
  3. Use the sliders to edit the top, bottom, left and right margins.
