Table of Contents
The way you insert images in your content depends on the type of page or section you chose.
Image Library
The Image Library is the space where all the images uploaded and videos embedded in your website are stored. You select images from the library to add to a page. You can also delete images from your library. NOTE! You must remove the deleted images from your pages to avoid broken images. (The images may be viewable for up to 30 days due to global cache.)

Images in gallery
You can upload images to a gallery directly. When adding images to a gallery, you can either select images from your library or upload new ones. Read more about how to add images to a gallery.
Videos in gallery
In Portfoliobox, you can embed videos from Youtube or Vimeo. You cannot upload video files directly to your website. Learn about how to embed a video into your website.
Image & Video background
Image background on a page that includes a background image
If you choose a template that includes a background image, like a cover template, you can upload the background image by clicking on the button Edit Image at the top of the image. Read more about background images.
Image background on a regular page
You can choose to add a background image on a regular page from the Section styles. Read more about background images.
Video background
You can add video as a background to Cover Sections and Cover Pages only, i.e. a page that includes a background image. Your background video needs to be embedded from Vimeo, which allows you to hide controls, mute and autoplay — perfect for video background. Read more about video backgrounds.
Image element
You may also add images as single elements to a page using the feature Add an element below. In that case, you will first add the element, which will contain a filler image, and then edit the element to upload your own image or video.
